The Atlanta Regional Workforce Board (ARWB) is responsible for providing policy guidance for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Service Area designated by the Governor representing Cherokee, Clayton, Douglas, Fayette, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale counties.

Workforce Investment Act Plan
The Atlanta Regional Workforce Board’s Workforce Investment Act (WIA) 2011 plan update (PDF) for the counties of Cherokee, Clayton, Douglas, Fayette, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale counties is available for review and comment. The WIA Plan Summary (PDF) details the plan modifications and highlights. A copy of the plan is available at the Atlanta Regional Commission, the administrative and fiscal agent for the Chief Elected Officials of the above counties.
