The 32-member Transportation and Air Quality Committee (TAQC) functions as the transportation policy committee of the Atlanta Regional Commission Board and represents an 18-county area. It develops consensus among ARC, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GA EPD) and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA). TAQC submits recommendations directly to ARC and holds regularly scheduled meetings that are open to the public.
The monthly Transportation and Air Quality Committee meeting is held at 10 a.m. in the Allen S. Hardin Amphitheater/ARC Board Room at the United Way / Loudermilk Center. Please note that all meeting times and places are subject to change. Call ARC at 404-463-3100 to confirm.
