Building community takes more than just bricks and mortar. It includes all aspects of a place — physical, social, political, health, education and economics. The goal of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) Local Government Services Division is to help local governments build community. The Local Government Services Division achieves this goal through the provision of technical assistance in three primary areas:

Please join a panel of state legislators and senators and your local elected official colleagues for an overview of and discussion about the upcoming 2008 legislative session and the issues that may impact local govenments. This includes a discussion of potential legislation covering topics including water, transportation and other issues that will impact local governments in the Atlanta region.
