Global Atlanta Snapshots

Last modified Tuesday, February 20, 2007 11:10

A Look at Ethnic Communities in the Atlanta Region

The Global Atlanta Snapshots publication series is a component of the Global Atlanta Works program. The snapshots are designed to help community, elected and business leaders become more familiar with the culture, language and customs of the increasingly diverse population living and working in the Atlanta region. The snapshots celebrate the rich ethnic and cultural diversity that our region now enjoys. Members of Atlanta’s ethnic communities may be long-time residents or new arrivals. Their customs may significantly differ from each other and from those of the general population of the Atlanta region. What they have in common is that they make this region their home, and they share in and contribute to its successes.
