Whether it’s an innovative initiative by a local government or a development that showcases quality growth principles, ARC wants to know. Applications are now being accepted for two programs honoring innovation. But hurry, the deadline to apply is the end of August.

The CREATE Community Awards recognize local governments for their work in community building and involvement, regional prosperity and economic development, educational excellence, air quality and transportation and environmental sustainability. Applications are due by Aug. 31. More information

The Developments of Excellence Awards recognize developments in the 10-county region that exemplify the policies and practices of ARC’s Regional Development Plan. Applications are due by Sept. 1. More information
