 On June 1, 2007 ARC hosted a Human Services Transportation (HST) Summit at the Loudermilk Center in downtown Atlanta. The Summit was the first of its kind for the Atlanta region and brought in over 170 attendees to be part of the regional HST planning process. Attendees learned about HST planning in the Atlanta region, helped develop a coordinated plan for the region and learned about HST best practices from around the country. The Summit also served as a “kick-off” to the region’s larger comprehensive HST planning process and the HST United We Ride/Mobility Services for All Americans technology grant recently awarded by the Federal Transit Administration.
