Components

• The Regional Resource Plan (PDF) describes how activities and planning of local governments, land trusts and conservation or environmental protection groups and state agencies’ activities in the region will be coordinated and how identified Regionally Important Resources (RIRs), such as areas of conservation and recreational value, historic and cultural resources, and areas of agricultural and scenic value, will be managed.
• The Regional Development Guide (PDF) provides the framework for regional development policy through advocating sustainable development patters – such as infill development and transit-oriented development.
• The Local Government Implementation Plan (PDF) encourages integrated land uses in places such as transit station areas and LCI communities, recommending an expedited permitting process for types of mixed use and infill development.
