The Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Task Force acts as a subcommittee to the Transportation Coordinating Committee (TCC) at ARC. The Task Force was created in 1993 as ARC began efforts to draft the Atlanta Region Bicycle Transportation and Pedestrian Walkways Plan. Membership consists of city and county transportation staff, recreation and planning departments within the Atlanta region, representatives from state and federal agencies and advocacy groups. The Task Force is also open to any interested individual or group.

The Task Force continues to meet to update the regional plan, to address other bicycle and pedestrian issues as part of the long and short range transportation planning process at ARC and to serve as an information exchange forum. Read more on the role of the Task Force (PDF).

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m. in the Harry West Room at ARC.
