The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) are pleased to announce preliminary recommendations resulting from a six‐month project solicitation process to fund locally identified priorities under three programs. The projects to be funded will address a wide array of mobility, safety and access issues encountered by motorists, pedestrians, freight distributors, bicyclists and transit users around the region.
A report is available which describes the process followed to identify projects, lists recommended projects and funding levels, and outlines remaining steps before recommendations are finalized.

Program Fact Sheets
Goals for each of the three funding programs, eligibility criteria, emphasis areas and suggested project types were defined in a series of fact sheets provided to potential applicants at the beginning of the solicitation process.
Recommended Projects and Funding Commitments
A total of 59 projects have already been scoped thoroughly enough to receive full funding for implementation totaling about $89 million. Another 55 priority areas have been targeted for improvements, but a specific project has not yet been developed to address the particular circumstances at those locations. Over $3 million of funds will be allocated to undertake scoping activities to identify specific project concepts which can be considered for implementation funding in a future solicitation.
Refer to the report for complete information about each project.
