At present, no funds have been identified specifically for a subsidized jobs program for youth for the Summer 2012, and at this time, there are no expectations that such funds will be forthcoming.
Federal Stimulus funding for subsidized summer jobs for youth that was available for Summer 2009 and 2010 through the Atlanta Regional Workforce Board and the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program was also not available for Summer 2011.
