WIA Training Provider Application

Organizations interested in becoming an Eligible Provider for WIA customers should  complete a copy of the Training Provider Application  (Word) and submit to:  ARC/Workforce Development Division
40 Courtland Street, Atlanta, GA 30303. 
Faxed applications will not be accepted. 

 

WIA Eligible Provider Listing

All Eligible ITA Training Providers and Programs are listed on Georgia's WIA Eligible Provider List (EPL)

 

The ARC Workforce Development Division accepts Workforce Investment Act (WIA) training provider applications (Word) for three separate Workforce Investment Boards in the metropolitan Atlanta area.   Approved Eligible Training Providers offer occupational skills training to eligible WIA-funded adults and dislocated workers through local workforce board areas. These areas include the counties of Clayton, Cherokee, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale.

Within this area, there are three (3) distinct and separate Workforce Investment Boards:

Organizations located within these counties that are interested in becoming an eligible provider for WIA training services, should complete and submit our application.  

The Training Provider Application (Word) consists of several components, including responsibilities of providers under the Workforce Investment Act. Performance Outcome measures, responsibilities for employment and follow-up of WIA customers are outlined in the application.  Individual Training Account policies and a listing of occupations with stable or potential growth projected are also included in the application.

The Cobb County WIB issues a separate application. Inquiries for Cobb County should call 770.528.4300.

The City of Atlanta Workforce Development Agency issues a separate application. Inquiries for the City of Atlanta should call 404.658.9675.

WIA requires that Youth programs be competitively procured. Requests for Proposals for Youth Services, when available, will be posted on the website. Please see the listing of current Youth Programs (pdf)  a project summary of each program.
